Where were you during 9/11?
If you were a responder at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or in Shanksville,or a survivor who was near Ground Zero during or after the attacks, you may be eligible for medical monitoring and/or compensation for your injuries.
The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act established two federal programs:
The World Trade Center Health Program serves responders in New York, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, as well as survivors in the New York City Disaster Area and provides initial health screenings, monitoring and medical treatment for 9/11-related injuries and illnesses.
The September 11 Victim Compensation Fund provides financial compensation to responders who suffered 9/11-related injuries at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Shanksville. It also provides compensation for injured and ill survivors of the World Trade Center attacks, including individuals and personal representatives of the deceased.
